Launched from Trinidad California harbor and paddled north around Trinidad Head and up to Patrick's Point State Park. Really large swells - 20 feet or so - rolling south around the point, we rode them for awhile but it was too much excitement on the roller coaster. Paddled back south to Luffenholtz Beach then landed and launched in the surf safely. Saw a number of harbor porpoises in the interesting seastack rocks. Great day.
