Trip Overview
Launching from beautiful Rebecca Spit, this weekend of kayaking will explore the surrounding islands. Scenic and full of wildlife and inter-tidal sea life. This short kayaking trip is a great way to get a taste of the British Columbia's incredible wilderness.
Paddling and camping in and around Quadra Island will bring you into stunning scenery, abundant inter-tidal life and numerous harbour seals. Humpback whales have also returned to this region in large numbers.
While this tour is shorter than the Discovery Islands Expedition, it includes all the great features, such as: top-notch equipment, gourmet coastal cuisine, and a small group size!
Safety Notes
Wildcoast guides are selected based on a combination of experience, love the outdoors and dedication to superior customer service. Prior to launching our first trips, Wildcoast holds on water training to prep all staff for the upcoming season.
Guides make decisions on kayaking routes having considered tides, weather and ocean conditions, in addition to group needs and the paddling dynamic.
Conditions
Ocean conditions best taken as a guided trip with those knowledgeable about the area's tides, currents and weather conditions.
