Put in to do some fishing but had arrived a bit late and the sun was high and hot. So I paddled around the lake enjoying the quiet water and nature. An enjoyable 2+ hours on the water getting used to my new kayak. Folks were out camping and canoeing around the east side of the lake. There are two cabins at this State Lake that can be rented. A nice little gem for a quick paddling session.
