Missipillion River in Delaware

If you are interested in a 5-6 hour paddling trip this is a very nice trip to take, you will see plenty of wildlife and lots of peace and quiet and plenty of adventure. The trip starts behind the Milford police station which has a very nice dock and boat ramp (free) and ends making a right at the Miss pillion light house and paddling up Ceder Creek to the state boat ramp which does have free parking also. I encountered about 15 boats on my adventure they all slowed down to a no wake speed except for two of them, and one was pulling a skier so that was very understanding, the other guy probably just didn't care, but he did turn around at look at me to make sure I didn't flip.... I hope!
The birds I saw were sandpipers, skimmers, great herons, snowy egrets, red winged black birds, crows, vultures, hawks and many many more. It is well worth the effort to take this trip, I have done it twice so far and I plan to do it again soon.....anybody want a free guided tour????
