Trip Overview
Took two kayaks from Longview Lake (origin) to Knobtown, MO. There were several strainers but, otherwise, it was a nice float and well shaded. Look for the Cedar Creek confluence, a waterfall, and several nice passages under highway overpasses.
Took us 5 hours but we are beginners and had difficulty with the obstructions. Would not recommend doing this alone unless you were experienced.
Check USGS. Be ready to navigate strainers. Given the urban proximity, there is a good amount of trash.

Directions:
Drive to Longview Lake dam. Easy spot to put in. Take out is more difficult.
