The remandts of Hurricane Beryl roll through Southern Ontario during a mid summer storm. The local rivers are high so Gord and I head back to the Grand River to paddle from Cambridge to Paris. The water is running at 100 cu/m/s in Galt, which makes for a great paddle!
Additional note - seasonal rains continued for the next few days and increased the flow rates on the local rivers in southern Ontario. This stretch got close to 300 cu/m/s, which is dangerous, even for this stretch. Check the flow rates on the Grand River Conservation Authority website before heading out for your paddle.
