First paddleboard experience. Rented one at the pond itself ($40 for 2 hours). You'll need the state parks pass to enter the park and you'll be able to bypass the main line. Get there BEFORE 8am especially on the weekends or you'll be walking at least an hour. It was super hot the day I went and people were allowed to hang off their boards to enjoy the cool water.
Conditions
Entering the water off the board was allowed.

One for rentals, one along the main beach, and several around the pond where people set up tents.
