Description

Parking on the pub car park at quiet times, with the owners permission and kindly get a drink whilst you’re there. There’s on road parking further up too. Paddle either way, several locks to portage. I went south to Oakmeadowford Lock, the canal then joins the River Churnet. Just over 1.3 miles. Rural views all round.
