Boat ramp to launch into the river above the seasonal Johnsons Beach dam. In my experience, this park can attract some kind of sketchy non-recreating people, which is a shame because it’s a great location to launch. There’s a turnaround where you can unload gear, but you’ll have to park a bit further from the water while you paddle. I believe there is a fee to park, but you’ll have can also park just outside the park for free if there’s space. Please be mindful of locals.
