Launch above dam to access Evan’s Pond and paddle upstream on the Cooper River Water Trail 1.5 miles until trail ends at river blockage near Crow’s Woods Recreation Area. There is currently no access to the river from the southern end. River is very low in parts and requires a few portages. First part of the the 15-mile Cooper River Trail that eventually reaches the Delaware River in Camden.
