Since buying my Nechi Eliza (poly) over 2 years ago, I have tried out other touring kayaks, and haven't found one to match! She is very stable and can be very fast, as I have gotten caught in winds that probably exceeded 40-50 kph, with 2 foot waves, and never felt unsafe. After owning her for less than one year, I completed my first 40 km. solo paddle in 6 hours. So, I know she can move if a person wants her to! My 10 yr. old grandson also loves paddling her and so I am thinking of buying a second one for the family!
