Second best kayak I've ever owned. The earlier model, while less stable, tracked easier and maintained a longer free drift. The stability of this model has saved me more than a few dunkings, and modifications are simple and straight forward. I'm not a small woman both in height and weight, yet this boat holds me solid and steady for hours at a time. The weight is a bit on the heavy end, as I load my boats on to the roof rack of a Honda Element but the trade off is a hull that can take a solid hit over and over again and shrug it off. The draft is actually quite shallow and gliding over shoals or through vegetation is breezy and smooth. The only real complaints I can justify is the lack of a bulkhead between the cockpit and rear deck and the wear on the pads and seat for which there seem to be no replacement parts.
