Have had one on order since November and my boat will go into production this week. Paddled it end of year 2023, reconsidered my options (Spitfire 12 footer) given clearance between camper and my tow vehicle but after paddling both last week decided I loved the glide of the 14 footer and could make it work. Very nice people at Placid Boatworks. Joe’s been patient and informative throughout buying process. The Spitfire is a gem also BTW, best pond hopper out there capable of performing well on more open water when needed. I’ll post a more complete review once I take delivery and have paddled it for the season. Transitioning from British sea kayaks as age and sport injuries take their toll.
