after 15 plus years, my trusty CHOTA neoprene boots started to leak, so i bought a pair of NRS Boundary Boots. the NRS boots are not nearly as well made as the Chota. not sure why, but the neoprene stretch's more, which allows for more movement of the foot inside of the boot, which makes walking up or down hills very awkward. the strap and fastener at the top of the boot is attached in such a way that they when the strap is pulled in all the way there is no tightening effect at all. (maybe just a defect with the pair i got, but same thing for both boots.) so far, they are waterproof after a few uses, otherwise the rating would be 1 star.
