Missing Kayaker Found in Florida Everglades

Mark Miele, a Virginia man, went kayaking solo through the everglades on week long expedition. He never returned but instead a dry bag was found 4 days after he was expected home containing his wallet and phone. Deputies then downloaded the last known location of Miele from his telephone which gave them a good idea of where he last was. He was found a day later by a helicopter crew floating in the water with his inflatable pfd. He has since been taken to a local hospital and is in a stable condition.
